Excursion From Marrakech To Imlil

The pleasant village of Imlil is an excellent settlement in the Atlas Mountains. It offers amazing perspectives and the chance to watch the Jbel Toubkal (4167m), the most astounding crest in Morocco. A chance to get away from the buzzing around of Marrakech and appreciate a climb sitting above a wonderful and unwinding scene.
Departure from your Riad/Hotel in Marrakech at 8:30 am to Imlil. We will cross Tahnaout and travel south to the gorges of Moulay Brahim, and to Asni, where you can appreciate a weekly after week Berber souk (each Saturday). At that point, we will go to Imlil (1,740m), situated in the mountains of the western Atlas. It is a region of difficult relief, which is just available by a road that achieves the focal point of the valley and from which run the tracks of the different douars, calm mountain villages totally adjusted in nature that We will land to Imlil, where we will leave our vehicle, and we will meet with a local guide before beginning a 4 km journey toward the south, to the Berber village of (Aremd) (1,843m), going by the villas of souka ait, Targa, and Imoula,(3,547m), Aksouâl (3,847m) and Adrar Adj (3.122m) enjoying the way. We will proceed with our trek to Aremd where we will stop to visit this unique place, a village in the valley of Aït Mizane Assif, ignoring the antiquated fields of grain, corn, vegetables watered in porches and constantly encompassed by almond and walnut trees. Every one of these particularities makes this scene and this place an ideal place to spend a rustic day near Marrakech, perfect for nature lovers. The walk proceeds with another half hour until the point when the lunch stop which will be served by a Berber family in the village of Achayn. After lunch, we will come back to the opposite side of the valley again to Imlil to Marrakech. 64 km from Marrakech (1h, 30 min driving)
