Description
Departure from Marrakech at 8:30 A.M, toward the three valleys. Escape from the busy
life in Marrakech and go to the amazing Atlas Mountains, going to the 3 valleys that give the area
its fame: Ourika Valley, Asni Valley, and Oukaimeden Valley. Become more acquainted with the
customary Berber culture on the way.
We will see Lake Lalla Takerkoust with its colossal marsh, we cross Berber mountain
villages only 30 km from Marrakech, where we will appreciate magnificent perspectives. We will
have some tea with local people. Then we will ascend the village of Moulay Brahim and cross the
plate of the Kick and its valley with the mountains where we will discover the Middle Atlas and
the desert of Marrakesh on the tracks that will lead us to the Valley of Asni.
On the excursion from Marrakech to the Atlas, you can visit the Berebere souk every
Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
We will then proceeds to the renowned Ourika Valley, it stays a standout amongst the
most wonderful and best-protected valleys in Morocco, small villages clinging to the flanks of the
massifs, waterfalls and rocky landscapes that are confused with the omnipresent desert, all this
forms a Wild and seductive harmony in the confines of the Western Atlas. We will have lunch on
the banks of the river, and then we begin to climb to the seven falls of water and we will discover
at the height of 1900 m, the village of Setti Fatma located in the Valley. Return to Marrakech in
the afternoon
